Originally a Brian Epstein managed group who recorded "Some Other Guy" for Decca in 1963. They split with Epstein in July 1963 and two of the original members left in November 1963.

The bass player Johnny Gustafson later played with the Merseybeats and in the seventies with Roxy Music

This tour was initially headlined by the Kinks and the Yardbirds. The Kinks left the tour after Dave Davies and the drummer Mick Avory had a fight onstage at the Capitol Cinema, Cardiff. Davies needed hospital treatment. The Yardbirds left the tour to fulfil prior bookings in Scotland
