This tour was initially headlined by the Kinks and the Yardbirds. The Kinks left the tour after Dave Davies and the drummer Mick Avory had a fight onstage at the Capitol Cinema, Cardiff. Davies needed hospital treatment. The Yardbirds left the tour to fulfil prior bookings in Scotland
